Signing on with Sportsnet in April 2012, Caroline Cameron currently hosts Hockey Central Tonight.
Born and raised in Toronto, Cameron began career in the world of broadcasting as a reporter, host and producer at RogersTV London as well as an intern for Sportsnet 590 The FAN. Rising through the ranks at Rogers over the next few years, Cameron provided sports updates for CityNews Channel and worked as a reporter at Sportsnet before landing behind the Sportsnet Central anchor desk, first in Vancouver and in Toronto. Since joining the network in 2012, Cameron has covered a wide range of live events, contributing to sportsnet.ca and Sportsnet broadcasts. An avid tennis player and blogger, Cameron lists reporting at the 2016 Wimbledon Final as a career highlight.
A graduate of the Media Theory and Production in Broadcast Journalism from The University of Western Ontario and Fanshawe College, Cameron has been honoured with Young Alumni Award from Fanshawe College and the Outstanding Youth Volunteer Award from the London Youth Council and Pillar Non-profit for her work on Rogers TV.
Competitive by nature, Cameron has always enjoyed playing various sports and being outdoors. Currently residing in Toronto, Cameron enjoys spending time with friends and family. Cameron is also a proud KidSport BC Ambassador and supporter of The Alzheimer’s Society, Dementia Friends, and Special Olympics BC.
