Co-Host, Good Show


Signing on with Sportsnet 590 The FAN in 2013, J.D. Bunkis currently co-hosts Good Show alongside Ben Ennis on weekday afternoons. Connecting with listeners across southern Ontario, Bunkis delivers in-depth analysis, exclusive interviews and up-to-the-minute news from the world of sports.

Hailing from Whitehorse, Yukon, Bunkis graduated from Carleton University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Law in 2009. Following his time in Ottawa, Bunkis enrolled in Centennial College in pursuit of a career in broadcasting, where he would go on to receive a Graduate Certificate in Sports Journalism in 2012. Joining Sportsnet 590 The FAN in 2013, Bunkis worked as a producer for The Andrew Walker Show and regularly contributed to the station’s Toronto Raptors post-game coverage. In 2018, it was announced that Bunkis and Ennis would be the hosts of Good Show, Sportsnet’s new midday radio program.

Today, in addition to his radio work, Bunkis also co-hosts Free Association, Sportsnet’s NBA podcast, alongside Donnovan Bennett.
