Joining the Sportsnet team during its inaugural year in 1998, Faulds has enjoyed many roles over the past 20 years. Including hosting and anchoring shows on Sportsnet, Faulds has covered several NHL, AHL, CHL, NBA, MLB, MLS, PGA and Grand Slam of Curling events, to name a few. He also had the opportunity to cover international sporting competitions including sliding events at the 2010 Vancouver Olympic Winter Games and the rowing and canoe/kayak events at the 2012 London Olympic Summer Games.

Faulds entered the media world during his years at Western University, where in between studying psychology and biology he would work part-time as a board operator CFPL Radio. Following graduation, Faulds focused solely on a career in broadcasting, working at several Canadian stations including CKSO in Sudbury, ON, CFRW in Winnipeg, CFCF in Montreal, and CTV Sports before joining the then-brand new Sportsnet in 1998.

Since his time at Western, Faulds has enjoyed several career highlights over the years including calling Mark Tewksbury’s gold medal backstroke at the 1992 Barcelona Olympic Summer Games, broadcasting the alpine skiing at the 1994 Lillehammer Olympic Winter Games and has done play-by-play for the Rogers Cup and Davis Cup for many years. In 2007, Faulds was nominated for Gemini award for his play-by-play broadcast performance during the CN Canadian Women’s Open. Most recently, Faulds called tennis for the Rio Olympics Games.

Outside of the sporting world, Faulds is heavily involved in charity events, hosting various events ranging from ALS, Alzheimer’s research, spinal cord research and cancer research.
